Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 12, 2026 · Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AmbitForge, LLC (“AmbitForge,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ambitforge.com or request a quote.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide when you submit a request for quote (RFQ): your name, email and/or phone, company/organization (optional), project description, timeline, quantity, and any file you attach (CAD models, drawings, or images).
  • Communications you send us (email, replies).
  • Usage data collected automatically via privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics: pages viewed, approximate country/region, device type, and which links you click — for example the “Request Quote” button and which part of the page it was clicked from. We record the link that was clicked, never anything you type. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • How you reached us. When you submit an RFQ we store, on that RFQ record: the page you first landed on; the site that referred you; any campaign parameters carried by the link you arrived on (the standard utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term); an ad-click identifier (gclid) if the link carried one; and the short venue code we put in our own printed links and QR codes (for example ?src=trade-show). The referring address is stored without its query string — we keep the site and page you came from, not the search terms or other parameters that followed it. We use this to tell which outreach brings in real projects; we do not use it to identify you personally or to build a profile of you across other sites.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your RFQ, prepare a quote, and perform the work.
  • To communicate with you about your project and our services.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site (aggregate analytics).
  • To see which outreach, campaigns, and printed links actually bring in projects, so we spend that effort where it works.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Your files (CAD, drawings, images)

Files you upload are used only to quote and build your part. Access is restricted; they are stored in private, access-controlled storage. We will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request. We do not sell or publish your files, and we use them only as described in our Terms & Conditions of Sale.

Do not upload controlled data through this site. The public RFQ and upload flow must not be used for ITAR- or EAR-controlled technical data or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). If your project involves such data, contact us first — we are not currently set up to handle it. See our Terms & Conditions of Sale.

Retention & deletion. We retain project files for 24 months after a project closes, then delete them, unless a longer period is required for a warranty, legal, or accounting reason. You may request deletion of your files at any time by emailing us (see §9); we will delete them within 30 days unless retention is legally required.

4. Service providers (processors)

We use a small set of vendors to run the site and the intake funnel. They process data on our behalf under their own terms:

  • Vercel — hosting, serverless functions, and cookieless analytics.
  • Supabase — database and private file storage.
  • Resend — transactional email (your confirmation and our internal notification).

These vendors process data on our behalf under agreements with us where required. Categories of subprocessors and data locations may change; we may add or replace providers with comparable protections. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties except these providers, or as required by law.

5. Cookies & analytics

The site does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so we do not display a cookie-consent banner. Cookie and consent requirements depend on the analytics deployed and where our users are located, and we will update this page if that changes. Session cookies are used only in the password-protected admin area, which is not accessible to the public.

Session storage. To connect an RFQ to the visit that produced it (§1), the site keeps one value in your browser’s session storage: the page you landed on, its query string, and the referring address. Session storage is not a cookie. It belongs to that one browser tab, the browser drops it when the tab closes, and no other site can read it. We read it only to fill in the RFQ form if you choose to submit one.

6. Data retention

We keep RFQ and contact records for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with law, then delete or anonymize them. File retention is covered in §3.

The attribution described in §1 is stored on the RFQ record itself and has no separate lifetime or separate retention period: it is deleted whenever that lead record is deleted, including when you ask us to delete your information under §8.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to our size, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access-controlled storage, consistent with applicable Massachusetts data-security requirements. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulators as required by law.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain uses. To make a request, email hello@ambitforge.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Exercise any of these rights by emailing us above.

Other regions. We are a U.S. business and do not target the EU or UK. If you are located somewhere that grants additional privacy rights and you contact us, we will honor the rights that apply to you.
